The Brutal Machete is a variant of the Machete featured in Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide. It can be received as a Quest reward, sold by Merchants and found on killed Zombies or in Metal chests.
Overview[]
The Brutal Machete is very similar in usage to the Bolo Machete, or indeed the Military Machete. With generally higher damage and force to a regular machete and potentially better durability and a moderate stamina usage, the Brutal Machete can deal with either crowds or individual Walkers and Infected with ease. It can damage multiple zombies with its wide swing and sever limbs effectively and relatively often. It can also deal with Special Infected well, such as Butchers or Wrestlers.
