Block Zero - First Floor is a location in the Prison and featured in Dead Island. It is the entrance floor for the prison and is a connection of corridors that lead to the various areas of the prison. The Heroes first visit here upon reaching the prison in the main Quest Titus Andronikus. The first floor contains corridors which leads to all the extremities of the prison, including the Canteen, all cell blocks, guard quarters and offices as well as various other areas. It is the primary way for the Heroes to move around the prison.
Layout[]
The area is, for the most part, entirely formed of relatively uniform prison corridors which twist and turn to reach the important locations of the prison. Each corridor follows the same basic build, with concrete floor tiles, ceramic rectangular tiles on the walls and a concrete ceiling which usually has either lighting attached to it, piping running along it or just bare. The wall are painted white on the top half whilst the lower half is painted in grey. Various things can be found attached the walls in place, including wires running along it, electrical boxes, ventilation grates, piping, emergency lighting and various other things. Some miscellaneous furniture items such as cabinets, metal chairs or wooden boxes can be found loitering in the corridors, likely moved by the prisoners either before or after the prison fell.
Notes[]
- Due to the first floor basically just being corridors designed to get the player from one location in the prison to another, it contains nothing of value. No metal chests or loot of any kind is really found here.
