Big Daddy, Where Are You? is a side-quest in Dead Island that is given to the Hero automatically when entering the Town Hall for the second time after completing Supermarket Journey.
Synopsis[]
The Hero must obtain a universal key from Mayor Todd Tanis, who has turned into a Thug.
Walkthrough[]
- This is an easy quest to complete.
- This quest is automatically given to you upon returning to Town Hall after clearing the Supermarket. Many people will not know they've been given this quest until unknowingly completing it by killing Todd.
- Head through the overrun Town Hall to get back to the Mayor's office where you spoke to Todd last time.
- You'll find him there as a Thug, so kill him off as quick as you like.
- Loot him to get his key and complete the quest.
Notes[]
- You can use the key to unlock a safe under his desk at the back of the room. The safe contains some Diamonds.
- Upon entering the balcony area while getting to the office, you can see a mounted machine gun. This is considered a shooting gallery mini game (as some zombies will spawn while you shoot down the rest already there). Since the machine gun is an instant kill, this is a quick and easy way to gain a few experience points. Once enough zombies have run up to the building and are growling beneath you, neither the machine gun nor any bomb or Molotov can touch them. Even Meat Bait won't lure them back into the machine gun's firing range. Just move on.

- The name of this quest could be a reference to the BioShock series, as the guardians protecting the Little Sisters are called "Big Daddies".
