The Big Baseball Bat is a variant of the Baseball Bat featured in Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide. It only starts to appear after reaching player level 24, when it supersedes the regular Baseball Bat. It can be given out as a Quest reward, sold by some Merchants as well as found on killed Zombies and in Metal chests.
Overview[]
As a larger version of the baseball bat, the Big Baseball Bat is naturally more powerful than its smaller colleague. With medium damage and high force, the bat deals better overall damage than its smaller cousin, which when coupled with its longer range and larger swing arc makes it much better adapted to dealing with multiple Infected or Walkers at once. It has good durability, better than the base baseball bat but all this comes at the cost of higher stamina usage, not wholly due to it being upgraded to a two handed weapon. Par-to-par, however, the Big Baseball Bat is a superior version to the basic baseball bat, good at dealing with hordes or Thugs alike, the bat is a worthy successor to the original, which stops appearing naturally past player level 24.
