The Beach Bar is a location featured in Escape Dead Island. It is located on the beach where Cliff Calo and his friends first arrive on Narapela. Cliff documents the location when they first arrive using his camera, hoping to use it as evidence of what GeoPharm is doing on the island.
Layout[]
The beach bar is a small, wooden bar area which is at the edge of the beach, stretching a short way out to sea. The main area is some slightly raised decking which has some stairs leading up it. This decking has various seats and tables for patrons as well as the bar itself, which is now overgrown after being abandoned. A sign welcomes people to the bar, while a map of Narapela is present for travellers to the island. The decking is covered by a slat wooden roof, which helps keep some sun off certain places. Also present is a shark hanging from one of the support beams. A small pier leads off the bar where a small, boarded and reinforced hut is located. Inside the hut there's a table and chair with a candle on it, as well as some cardboard boxes and a sun lounger.
Notes[]
- The word 'HELP' has been written in white paint and capitals on various places across the bar, but you can only see them if you're looking back at the beach/bar from the pier.
- There's also more of the skull and crossbones painted on the bar, like with the beach.
- The Beach Bar is where Cliff first encounters zombies on the beach.
- You find the map at the beach bar, inside a cabinet which Cliff quickly opens to obtain the map.
- GeoPharm File #1 is found in the locked hut at the back of the beach bar. The lever axe has to be acquired to open up the hut.
- Also in here is some pistol ammo and a medkit.
- Taking a picture of the sign with the Camera gives Snapshot 13.
- Taking a picture of the hanging shark with the Camera gives Snapshot 45.
