Andy is a cut survivor featured in Dead Island. He is an unused survivor found stored underneath the Resort.
Character Overview[]
Andy is an unused NPC in Dead Island that can be found out of bounds on the Parking Lot map. Judging from the cut quest, Brothers Escort, he was planned to be the 14 year old brother of Robert and would have been found trapped in a toilet stall surrounded by zombies and the player would be required to clear the area to save him.
It is possible that Andy was intended to be appear in the unused Parking Lot map that is located under the regular map but for unknown reasons, he was never deleted alongside Robert and was simply left outside the map on a floating platform. Another reason is most likely the removal of all children from the game due to age rating restrictions, meaning the quest would need modifying to fit guidelines, resulting in this quest never being finished likely because of time constraints.
Andy can also be found in the Definitive Edition alongside Robert too, however both of their models are bugged and do not resemble their original counterparts.
