Alfred is a survivor in Dead Island: Riptide. He is encountered by the Hero in the Northwest section of the flooded jungle, just west of the helicopter crash site and north of the Paradise Survival Camp.
Background[]
Alfred was on vacation in Palanai and was camping when the zombie outbreak began. He managed to avoid getting infected and tried to find a safe place to hide from the zombies. He lost his way in the Flooded Jungle and came to a campsite, which was overrun by zombies; the zombies eventually saw him and pursued him. Alfred quickly made his way up onto a camper where the zombies surrounded him.
Eventually, Alfred spots the heroes and calls for help. As soon as the Hero spots Alfred, the Civilian Rescue quest Rescue Alfred will be activated. After killing the zombies, Alfred says that he wishes that he could fight like them and calls the hero up to the top of the camper, where he gives them cash as a reward. He stays for a while and rests on the camper before resuming his search for a safe place and leaving the area.

Alfred is a middle-aged man with balding brown hair and stubble on his chin. He wears a sky blue button-up shirt, green slacks held by a black belt, and light gray sneakers. He also wears a gold watch on his left wrist.
